Eat Fit in Barbados

I’m turning into a bit of a restaurant critic with all the eating out we’ve been doing lately. I think I’m just in a phase where I do not feel like cooking whatsoever. I’m sure I’ll snap out of it as soon as I look over these bills!

IMG_3502 (1).JPGWhile searching for a healthy place to eat, we came across Brito’s Eat Fit Ave and I’m sure glad we did. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place, so let’s get into the good stuff. It is delicious, the modern decor and paintings are so inviting, everyone was nice, and we didn’t wait too long for our food to arrive. I was expecting the menu to be pretty plain, but it honestly took us over 20 minutes to decide what we wanted.  I’m sure the hostess was over our standing and staring and asking “well, what are your favorite items?”

The first time I visited this restaurant I had the Caribbean Chicken Sunrise which is a wrap with jerk chicken and pineapple salsa. It had just the right amount of spice and came with a yummy side salad. The portion was just enough to make me feel content and not stuffed. I also ordered the Sunset @ Pebbles Beach which was a freshly made juice with watermelon, grapefruit, pears, and pineapple.

My husband… I don’t know what he had. He was finished before I took my first bite.

We came a second day with my mother-in-law and each got different wraps and smoothies (Verde, Koko, and Big Kahuna)

I will defintely be back!  Check out their facebook page to see everything they offer.  Click here.
