We all get that sudden sweet tooth after a savory meal or early in the morning or late at night… pretty much all the time right? To satisfy that craving grabbing a candy bar or ice cream is an easy thing to do, but so is making a smoothie! This super simple chocolate smoothie recipe packed with fiber, superfoods, and healthy fats will hit the spot and leave you with no regrets. Although I’m personally not the biggest chocolate fan, I enjoy this little snack to the fullest.
The stars of the show are two of my favorite supplements. The NYR Organic Radiance superfoods is so delicious. It adds a sweet taste to drinks without being too overbearing. It’s made with all organic ingredients and is vegan. My other favorite supplement is Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro Fiber. This raw cold milled organic hemp powder has 13 grams of fiber per servings and is a good source of Omega 3 and 6. The taste…let’s just say I wouldn’t be able to drink it mixed with liquid only. It’s a little too “earthy” for all that.
Since this is a snack I only made 8oz worth, poured then into 4oz bowls to share and topped with a few cacao nibs.
*Half a medium banana
*Half a small avocado
*Handful of cacao nibs
*5 grams NYR Organic superfood
*5 grams Hemp Pro Fiber
*Handful of ice
*Chocolate Hemp Milk (gradually add, less liquid equals a creamier blend)
*Pinch of cacao nibs (as a topping)
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Add a pinch of cacao nibs to top.
